As AI accelerates demand for scalable infrastructure, cloud costs are soaring, and most teams still rely on spreadsheets to manage them. At North, we’re building the next-generation cloud spend management platform. We give companies real-time visibility, control, and automation over their cloud finances, so they can grow efficiently, without wasting time or money. Backed by top-tier investors and trusted by global customers like Brave, The New York Public Library, and SumUp, we’re assembling a world-class team to redefine how businesses manage cloud infrastructure. A portfolio featuring relevant academic, freelance, internship, or personal design work. Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign. A strong foundation in typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, and composition. Interest in branding, marketing design, presentation design, and digital experiences. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work. Curious, dependable, and excited to learn in a fast‑paced startup environment. Able to manage assignments independently while communicating clearly with the team. Based in or near New York City and available to collaborate from our Dumbo, Brooklyn office as part of a hybrid schedule. Nice to Have Experience designing presentation decks or marketing collateral. Familiarity with responsive web design or UX/UI principles. Motion graphics or basic video‑editing experience. Familiarity with After Effects, Canva, Webflow, or other website‑building tools. Interest in B2B technology, cloud infrastructure, AI, or developer‑focused products. Experience creating designs for student organizations, events, publications, or social media. What you’ll gain Hands‑on experience creating design work used by a growing technology company. Exposure to brand, marketing, sales, web, and product design projects. Opportunities to develop portfolio‑ready work across digital and print channels. Direct collaboration with team members across different areas of the business.
