Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Daycare Attendant to join our team! You will supervise groups of dogs playing and interacting and ensure that they are doing so properly. There are also cleaning tasks to be done.Responsibilities:Supervise and interact with the dogs in a safe and compassionate mannerImplement creative activities and training to keep the dogs engagedCreate a positive, clean and nurturing environmentPerform a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, taking in and releasing dogs to owners, feeding and watering boarding dogs, ensuring proper play and safe interactions between dogs, making sure dog's needs are met. You will get to know each dog individually.Qualifications:Previous experience with dogs in a group environment is preferred but not requiredEnjoy working with dogs and do not mind a sometimes noisy environmentJob can be messy at times. You will need to be okay with dealing with dirt, drool, urine, feces and vomitAbility to stand on your feet for up to 10 hoursAbility to lift 50 poundsPositive and patient demeanorNo criminal recordAbility to start work as early as 7 am and end work as late as 6:30 pmAvailability for day, evening, weekend and holiday shiftsReliability for shiftsFlexibility in terms of days and times worked possibly outside of your regular, scheduled shifts\nCompany DescriptionWe have been open for eight years and we have a focus on positive training and encourage healthy socialization for dogs.
