Drivers are also expected to inspect vehicles before and after trips, report maintenance concerns, and maintain accurate delivery records. A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to read maps or use navigation tools are commonly required. Prior delivery or transportation experience is beneficial, along with good customer service skills and the ability to manage time effectively. This work can involve lifting packages, standing, walking, and repeated entering and exiting of a vehicle.
